L.A.'s Most Unique Museum-Quality Homes

Our homes are located in some of the most popular areas of Hancock Park, Miracle Mile, Sunset Plaza, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and Hollywood Hills. We restore these beautiful homes to their original style, using museum-quality original 1920’s pieces.

Green Living - We're Trying

At Art Deco Apartments we’re trying to help maintain healthy and efficient homes by minimizing our carbon footprint on the planet and enjoying a greener lifestyle   We are doing this by insulating our water heaters and water pipes, proper settings of water temperature, fixing leaky faucets right away.  We restore and maintain original lighting and hardware and appliances.

Minimizing Your Trash and De-cluttering Your Life:
For every item you throw out there is a hidden waste, one of the  green living idea is to reduce your trash so much that you produce no waste.  Zero waste will become much more achievable as recycling and packaging practices catch up with today’s culture.  We do this by lengthening the life of our possessions—recycling, identifying what you can recycle, repairing damaged items, finding places to drop off recyclables.  Remember you can turn your garbage into someone else’s gold.  If you are interested in giving away some of your things to people who have more need of them than you do—you can donate just about anything.  Make sure anything you give is in good condition and useable.

Computers and TV’s
To find a computer refurbishing place or recycler program in your area, check http://earth911.org. In the Find a Recycling Center box at the top of the home page, enter computer and then your zip code or city and state) or www.techsoup.org (click Learning Center, then Hardware, and then Ten Tips for Donating a Computer).

If you want to repair, restore or reuse or try to help the environment  and create a better home for you and your loved ones, you can do this by reducing energy use and waste, and by scaling back reliance on your car, and by making a difference in your diet.

DOES ART DECO APARTMENTS HAVE THE VERY BEST IN GREEN LIVING?
No… but we’re trying!  We’re trying to make a difference by developing the principles of green living lifestyle.  Remembering that green living starts in your home—if everyone tries to do a little better, we’ll get a lot more out of our environment and our future.
